The Solid State Seismic Shutoff — MK6
The MK6 is an electronic earthquake detection and gas isolation system. It continuously monitors ground acceleration and fires its relay output within 10 milliseconds of threshold exceedance — automatically closing gas supply valves before destructive shaking arrives.
Two variants:
AC variant — 230V with internal NiCad battery backup (up to 24 hours under mains failure). Standard building installation.
DC variant — 12, 24, 110, or 230V from a no-break power supply. For remote, substation, and battery-backed installations.
NZ-designed and manufactured. Supplied with operator's manual. One year return-to-factory warranty.
